If TMD were a pub, this would be the last call for alcohol. Gentlemen (I only “assume” there are no ladies reading this), you only have 10 days left before this shopping cart will be turned off. After March 15, I will NOT take any more orders. I have my hands full as it is, and I expect you guys won’t let up on me now. So, consider yourself fairly warned. I am looking forward to April 1st, and NO, this is not going to turn out to be an April Fools’ joke. I am closing TMD.

STILL SHIPPING SLOW

I have 2 groups of orders. The first group do NOT have any Mk III “Desert” Matildas in them. I am up to February 15th with these orders and starting to gain ground. The second group ALL have pre-ordered Mk III Matildas in them. The Chinese New Year set the factory back and I am now getting a run-a-round with my supplier. BUT NOT TO WORRY! I have a backup plan and am looking to get the PE made for these kits in time to ship ALL of them by March 31! What you need to know is simple: I WILL fill your orders. You will NOT lose your money. And I DO plan to ship my last order by March 31.

I NEED YOUR UNDERSTANDING, PLEASE

This brings me to the next topic: I need your understanding. If this were Dune, I’d be telling you I have “worm sign” the likes of which God has never seen. But, hey, I was whacked when I started TMD and now I breathe resin fumes all day. I have an excuse to be this way, how about you? ? Anyway, if you have any concerns, worries or you just aren’t sure you’ll get your order, P-L-E-A-S-E, DO NOT PLACE IT! Yes, you heard me correctly. I do not want you to order if you don’t trust me. For those who do trust me, just be patient with me. It will be worth it. I have replaced more than ½ my molds in the past 6 weeks just to make sure I keep up the quality of my product. I’m going to work for you until the very end.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR ME?

I can tell you this much: the new company will be called Tigermodels. I know it isn’t very original, but it works. You’ll still be able to find me right here, and my email address will not change. However, everything else is still up in the air. As I said before, I’ll post an announcement for you on March 16th. I’ll be at the AMPS Nationals in April. If you’re there, you can chat with me directly – if you’d like. I am also welcoming any and all emails about my future. I need to know what’s on your minds as much as mine. Maybe this way I can figure out what I want to do next sometime by the end of April. Either way, as soon as I know, you’ll know. Just keep checking in right here for the latest news.

45304 MATILDA MK III “DESERT” UPDATE (TAM) ***PRE-SALE***

At the moment, the only reason the Mk III “Desert” conversion has not been released is because we do not have the PE…yet. As you know, I have had trouble getting PE and barrels in the past, so I have been hesitant to release this kit until I actually have the PE in my hands. However, this time, I think we’ll be OK. The test PE has been made and – so far – there are no real problems with it. The production will be held up by holidays in China, but it looks like we should have it by the end of February or early March. What’s more, the PE is being made by a trusted and proven friend. So, because time is growing short for TMD and I promised Mike this kit WOULD COME OUT UNDER THE TMD LABEL, I am now taking pre-orders for the Mk III “Desert” Matilda.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU ORDER

First, YES, you WILL be billed at the time you order it (it’s how our system works). The kit will not start shipping until sometime after the first week of March. If this is going to cause you worries, DO NOT PRE-ORDER THIS KIT – ESPECIALLY IF YOU USE PAYPAL!!!!

ALL PRE-ORDERS WILL BE SHIPPED – EVEN IF I HAVE TO WORK INTO APRIL TO DO IT!!!

I want to keep making it VERY clear; NO ONE IS GOING TO LOSE MONEY WITH ME! I am taking these pre-orders so I can start casting the kits. This way, they will be ready and waiting on the shelves. When the PE arrives, all I have to do is put it in the packages and ship your kits. I need this extra time in case you guys buy this kit like you have been buying the BEF Conversion. This way, I can get ahead of the game for a change.

If you order other items with this pre-order, they will be held until the Mk III kit is ready to ship (this will save on shipping).
